Men’s Golf Returns to action at Badger Invitational Starting Sunday

MADISON, Wis. — The Southern Miss men's golf team returns to action when they travel to Madison, Wis., for the 2024 Badger Invitational at the University Ridge Golf Course, running Sunday through Tuesday.
The Badger Invitational is slated to begin Sunday, Sept. 29 and run through Tuesday, Oct. 1, with 18 holes being played on each day. Tee times on Sunday and Monday will begin at 9:30 a.m. CT off Holes 1 and 10. Tuesday will begin at 9:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start.
Teams competing along with Southern Miss includes host Wisconsin along with Ball State, Green Bay, Illinois State, Long Beach State, Memphis, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northern Illinois, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois, VCU, Washington State, Western Kentucky, and Winthrop
University Ridge is a par-72 and will be playing at 7,286 yards for the Invitational. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and opened in 1991. The course, also known as "URidge", is consistently looked at as one of the top college golf courses in the country. Most recently, University Ridge was named the No. 9 best college golf course by Golf Digest.
