Women's Tennis Heads to Georgia Southern and Coastal Carolina

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – In the midst of a four-game road swing, Southern Miss (4-8, 0-4 Sun Belt) women's tennis heads to Georgia Southern (13-2, 2-1 Sun Belt) and Coastal Carolina (8-6, 2-2 Sun Belt) this weekend. The Golden Eagles open in Statesboro on Friday morning at 9 a.m. CST, then take on the Chanticleers Saturday at 9 a.m.
The Golden Eagles are on a four-match losing skid despite picking a point in three of the four. Against Georgia State last Sunday, Angelina Blinova and Malannia Vashkevich both picked up wins in singles action – both came in three sets. Suhana Das leads Southern Miss in wins with four, while three others have at least three wins.
