Southern Miss Heads to Huntsville for Sun Belt Mid-Season Tournament

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss beach volleyball returns to action on Friday, March 22, for the Sun Belt Mid-Season Seeding Tournament. Competition begins at 8 a.m. against Sun Belt foe College of Charleston.

John Hunt Sand Volleyball Complex | Huntsville, Ala.
The Golden Eagles meet the Cougars for the third time in program history, previously meeting in 2023 in Huntsville, Ala. College of Charleston is off to a 3-9 start and, enters the weekend on a four-game losing streak. The Cougars finished 0-4 at last weekend's Stetson Invitational in DeLand, Florida.
Game 18 | Southern Miss (6-10, 2-0 Sun Belt) vs. UNCW (9-2, 3-0 Sun Belt)

The Sandy Hawks are brand new foes of the Golden Eagles. Southern Miss looks to win their debut match against UNCW. UNCW comes into the weekend at 10-5 and going 2-2 in the Stetson Invitational last weekend.

Mercer is off to a 9-8 start coming into this weekend after a 4-0 showing at last weekend's Bears Beach Bash. The Bears are 0-3 all-time against the Golden Eagles.
Game 20 | Southern Miss (6-10, 2-0 Sun Belt) at Coastal Carolina (10-6, 1-1 Sun Belt)

Southern Miss' weekend ends against Coastal Carolina, who stands at 10-6 on the year. The Golden Eagles are 0-5 all-time against the Chanticleers and went 0-2 against CCU last season.
