Ando Goes Under Par During Second Round of MountainView Collegiate

SADDLEBROOKE, Ariz. – Momoka Ando fired a two-under 70 during the second round of the MountainView Collegiate to move into a tie for 18th in Saddlebrooke, Ariz. The Golden Eagles remained in 12th on the team leaderboard at The Preserve Golf Club.
Ando had five birdies on the front nine of the course and added another on the back nine. She enjoyed a stretch of three-straight birdies starting on hole two and then added another on the sixth hole. Elena Melich carded a one-over 73 and had four birdies on the day. Melich is now tied for 66th.
Merche Corbacho shot a three-over 75, while Alma Betoret and Ragini Navet both shot a four-over 76. The Golden Eagles will start the final round on Sunday morning with a shotgun start.
