Men's Basketball Heads to Louisiana for Regular Season Finale

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss (16-14, 9-8 Sun Belt) men's basketball closes the regular season on the road Friday night at Louisiana (17-13, 9-8 Sun Belt). The Golden Eagles will tip-off at 7 p.m. inside the Cajundome.

KEY GOLDEN EAGLE STORYLINES
- Andre Curbelo scored a career-high 25 points on the road at South Alabama on Feb. 28
- Victor Iwuakor produced his fifth double-double this season in the home finale against Louisiana on Feb. 24
- Victor Hart returned to the starting lineup against South Alabama on Feb. 22 and produced a 13-point, 12-rebound double-double
- Curbelo returned from injury against Texas State and scored 24 points on 8-of-9 shooting
- Austin Crowley became the first Golden Eagle in 10 years to record a double-double in three consecutive games after going for 22 points and 10 rebounds against ULM

- Louisiana's seven wins away from home are third-most in the Sun Belt behind James Madison and App State
- Hosana Kitenge has been on fire for Louisiana. The junior has recorded a double-double in three straight games and in four of the last five. Since the start of SBC play, the junior is averaging 14.4 points and 79 rebounds, both the second best marks on the team
- Kobe Julien reached 1,000 points for his Louisiana career with a 28-point performance against Georgia State on February 7
