HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss junior Zayne Palomino (Kingston, Jamaica) earned qualification in the NCAA Indoor Championships in the men's high jump it was announced Wednesday. The meet will take place in Boston, Mass., March 7-9, at The Track at New Balance.
"We are extremely excited for Zayne, who is getting rewarded for a strong indoor season," said Southern Miss track coach Jon Stuart. "He has continued his improvement and saved his best for the Sun Belt meet in which he posted his personal best. We look forward to him competing as a Golden Eagle next month."
