Men's Golf Completes Day Two of Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Two Southern Miss men's golfers shot below par rounds and another one equaled par, Monday, to help the Golden Eagles post a team score of 286 and hold 12th place after day two of the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico.
Being played at the par 72, 7,112-yard TPC Dorado Beach-Sugarcane Course, the Golden Eagles got rounds of 69 from Ryan Dupuy, 71 from Bennett Ruby and 72 from Cameron Guidry. The best day for a Southern Miss golfer was from Supakorn Amornchaichan, who is playing as an individual, by registering a 67. Both Robbie Latter and Thongpipat Rattanayanon each added 74s to round out the Golden Eagles' day.
Amornchaichan holds the top spot among the Golden Eagle individual leaders with a 136 total and finds himself in an 11th place tie.
Both Ruby ad Dupuy hold a stroke total of 140 which ranks tied for 28th, while Robbie Latter's 143 puts him in a tie for 53rd. Guidry holds down a 73rd-place tie with a 36-hole score of 146 and Rattanayanon is one stroke back and in an 81st-place tie.
Host UNCG leads the event with a 37-under 539, leading second-place Ball State (548) by nine strokes. Kent State holds third with 551, while West Virginia and UTSA round out the top five with a tie at 552.
The Golden Eagles have a two-round score of 568.
