Men's Tennis Travels to Samford Ahead of Home Opener Monday Afternoon

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss (0-1, 0-0 Sun Belt) men's tennis team travels to Samford on Saturday afternoon for a 2 p.m. match before returning home to host New Orleans in Monday's home opener.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a tough loss at UAB last Monday in the season opener. Pasawee Reansuwong was the lone Golden Eagle to pick up a win in the contest and did so by sweeping Iker Dellien.
Samford has won three of its last four matches and dropped a 4-3 decision to Kennesaw State in its last outing on Wednesday afternoon. Meanwhile, New Orleans boasts a 2-1 mark with wins over Tyler Junior College and Jackson State.
Admission to Monday's match at the Southern Miss Tennis Complex is free. First serve is scheduled for 2 p.m.
