Golden Eagles Head to ULM After Historic Weekend at Home

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's basketball team opens a two-game road trip on Thursday night against ULM (4-9, 0-3 Sun Belt). The Golden Eagles (8-7, 2-1 Sun Belt) will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. from the Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe, La.

Southern Miss is coming off a pair of historic games at Reed Green Coliseum last week. It started with Andre Curbelo recording the second triple-double in program history and the first since Ronald Jackson achieved the feat in 1980. Curbelo finished with 13 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds. The Golden Eagles then knocked off No. 19 James Madison, 81-71. It marked the eighth ranked win in program history and the first since Jan. 15, 2011 when Southern Miss beat No. 22 UCF.
The game will be streamed on ESPN+ with Chris Harris on the call. Fans can listen on the Southern Miss Radio Network, Southern Miss Game Day App, or their local Southern Miss Network affiliate to hear John Cox on the call.
KEY GOLDEN EAGLE STORYLINES
- Victor Hart (16), Austin Crowley (15), Andre Curbelo (15) and Cobie Montgomery (12) all scored in double figures against James Madison
- Curbelo dished out 20 assists over two games against James Madison and Georgia State
