Women's Golf Finishes Regular Season at Two-Day ULM Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss women's golf team travels to Monroe, La. to finish its regular season at the ULM Invitational. The two-day event will be played at Bayou Desiard Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.

The nine-team event will start at 9 a.m. on Monday morning with a shotgun start. The second round will follow the completion of round one, while the final 18 holes will be played Tuesday morning. The par-72, 6,082-yard course features four par fives with a 536-yard 14^th hole. A pair of par threes are sprinkled on both the front and back nine.

Other participating schools are ULM, Arkansas State, Houston Christian, Missouri State, Sam Houston State, South Alabama, Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M - Commerce. With only a couple weeks until the Sun Belt Championships at LPGA International, the Golden Eagles will have a good tune up with three other conference schools in the field.

Head coach Lucy Nunn Burke tabbed her starting five as follows: Momoka Ando, Elena Melich, Taylor Trible, Alma Betoret and Jacee Fields. Fernanda Gorostiaga is playing as an individual.
