HATTIESBURG, Miss.-- The Southern Miss soccer team is currently on the move for the postseason, set to compete in the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in Foley, Ala. The game against Georgia State kicks off at 4 p.m.
Southern Miss holds the 10th seed, while Georgia State is seated as the seventh seed, reminiscent of the 2022 tournament, where Southern Miss faced a 1-0 defeat in the first round.
Last time out: The team wrapped up the regular season in San Marcos, Texas, with a 3-3 draw against Texas State, securing their spot in the upcoming tournament.
