Ando Paces Golden Eagles During Day Two at The Ally

WEST POINT, Miss. – The Southern Miss women's golf team is through 36 holes of play at The Ally in West Point, Miss. at Old Waverly Golf Club.
Momoka Ando fired a three-over 75 to lead all Golden Eagles for the second consecutive day. The junior sits tied for 34th. Three Southern Miss golfers are in a tie for 53rd – Elena Melich and Ragini Navet each fired a seven-over 79 today. Taylor Trible is the third Golden Eagle with that pair and carded a five-over 77.
Trible was able to have a team-best three-stroke improvement from Monday's round. Jacee Fields shot a nine-over 81 and Merche Corbacho shot a 12-over 84.
Southern Miss is in 12th place heading into Wednesday's final round. Navet will be the first Golden Eagle off the tee box at 8:50 a.m. Each subsequent golfer will go every 10 minutes.
