Men’s Golf Returns to Action at Old Town Club Collegiate

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – After posting a tournament title in its first tournament this fall, the Southern Miss men's golf team returns to action Monday and Tuesday at the Old Town Club Collegiate in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The tournament starts Monday with 36 holes of continuous play, and finishes with 18 more holes on Tuedsay at the par-70, 6,966-yard Old Town Club. This will be the second consecutive year that the Golden Eagles have played in this event, capturing second place a season ago.
The Golden Eagles opened their season two weeks ago with a victory at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate, winning the event by a stroke over Middle Tennessee.
Southern Miss junior Thonpipat Rattanayanon (Bangkok, Thailand) won his first collegiate event at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate, shooting an 11-under 205 to capture the individual medalist honors.
Rattanayanon returns to the lineup for this event, along with Ryan Dupuy (Baton Rouge, La.), Robbie Latter (Mississauga, Ontario), Cameron Clarke (Pittsboro, Miss.) and Tommy Latter (Mississauga, Ontario), who will be playing in his first collegiate event.
