HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Following a 4-0 shutout over Alcorn State (3-10, 2-2 SWAC) on Tuesday afternoon in Hattiesburg, the Southern Miss men's tennis team extended its winning streak to five straight. "It's great to win all five matches at home this past week," said head coach Zubin Engineer. "I thought we really came out strong today and we had a big comeback in doubles play after we dropped the first match. We had a strong showing in singles and I hope to see the same this weekend down in Florida."
Shamirul Shahril/Antoine Audrain and Dhruv Sunish/Pasawee Reansuwong cleaned up the doubles point for Southern Miss, while Shahril and Audrain needed an extra set to secure the point for the Black and Gold.
