Men's Basketball Returns Home to Host Mobile

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss men's basketball (6-0, 0-0 SBC) returns home on Sunday afternoon to host Mobile (3-3, 0-2 SSAC) at Reed Green Coliseum. The Golden Eagles are off to their best start since the 2006-07 season and will tip at 2 p.m. against the Rams.

- The game will be streamed on ESPN+, with Lee Roberts and Larry Boyd on the call

- Southern Miss took home the title in Mayan Division of the Cancun Challenge on Wednesday night
- The Golden Eagles cruised to wins over Winthrop (77-52) and Purdue Fort Wayne (70-58)
- Felipe Haase was named MVP of the Mayan Division and Austin Crowley joined him on the All-Tournament Team
- Crowley (16.5), Haase (15.3) and Denijay Harris (10.3) are all averaging 10-plus points per game
- As of Saturday, Southern Miss ranks 15th in scoring defense, 7th in steals per game, 3rd in turnover margin and 15th in turnovers forced per game
