Men's Golf Heads West for the the Oregon State Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team returns to action for its third fall tournament when they travel West for the Oregon State Invitational in Corvallis, Ore., Monday and Tuesday.
The event, which is being played at the par-71, 7,384-yard Trysting Tree Golf Club, will start with a 10:15 a.m. CT shotgun start with 36 continuous holes, Monday, and finish with a final 18 holes Tuesday.
Along with the Golden Eagles, the 15-team field includes host Oregon State, Boise State, Cal State Fullerton, Gonzaga, Idaho, Kansas State, Pacific, Sacramento State, Sam Houston State, Seattle University, Tarleton State, Utah, Utah Tech and Washington State.
The Golden Eagles, which are ranked No. 42 in the latest GolfWeek.com men's team rankings will utilize the lineup of Cameron Clarke, Thongpipat Rattanayanon, Ryan Dupuy, Robbie Latter and Tommy Latter.
Three players average under 72.00 for the season, including Clarke who leads the team with a 68.67 scoring average, along with Rattanayanon at 69.50 and Dupuy at 70.50.
As a team, Southern Miss won its opening tournament of the year, winning at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate in Choudrant, La., before finishing seventh in the Old Town Collegiate in Winston-Salem, N.C.
