Soccer Travels to Houston, Texas to Take on Rice

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss Golden Eagles (5-2) travel to Houston, Texas to take on the Rice (7-2) Sunday, March 27 at 1:00 p.m. (CT). The Golden Eagles are on a three-game winning streak after claiming conference victories over UTEP, UTSA and North Texas.
Southern Miss looks to continue a dominant 2021 campaign with a Sunday afternoon victory over the Owls in Houston, Texas.
The opponent
The Rice Owls enter the match 7-2 claiming five of their seven victories at home this season. In their last matchup, the Owls edged out Houston Baptist 2-0 scoring both goals in the first half.
