HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Lady Eagles wrap up the 2020-21 home schedule this weekend with a pair of contests against the FIU Panthers on Friday and Saturday at Reed Green Coliseum. Tip-off for Friday is set for 6 p.m. CT and is the annual 'Play4Kay' game, while Saturday's game will tip-off at 4 p.m. CT as Southern Miss will honor seniors Allie Kennedy and Jalise Smallwood.
"It's a big weekend for us," head coach Joye Lee-McNelis said. "For our seniors, it's their last game in Reed Green. We really need to play hard for them. We have to put it all together to gain some momentum at home and carry that into the last weekend of the regular season and the conference tournament."
Both games will air on ESPN+ with Lee Roberts and Larry Boyd on the call. The voice of the Lady Eagles, Jason Baker, will have the game on the Southern Miss Radio Network, broadcast on 92.7 the Score and presented by Learfield IMG College.
As part of the 'Play4Kay' game and #McNelisStrong campaign, Coach McNelis has asked that fans join her as they are able in her partnership with Forrest General Hospital's Patient Navigation Program that provides patients with numerous resources they might need as they fight cancer.
