Baseball Set to Hold Preseason Parties and Fan Day

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss baseball program will hold three events leading up to the 2020 season, including a pair of socials as well as the team's annual Fan Day.
The preseason schedule kicks off with a meet the team event at Brewsky's (3818 W. 4th Street), Tuesday, Feb. 4, from 6-7:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out and meet this year's squad. The event is sponsored by the Southern Miss Dugout Club.
Two days later, the Golden Eagle coaches will be available for a luncheon meet and greet at Mugshots Grill and Bar (204 N. 40th Street) on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 12-1 p.m.
The final event, Fan Day, takes place Saturday, Feb. 8, at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field. A free kids clinic will start the day from 10-11 a.m., with players and coaches signing autographs following the camp at 11:30 a.m. The Golden Eagles will also go through an intrasquad scrimmage later in the day.
All events are free and open to the public. The only costs will be any food or beverages bought at these respective events.
