Personal bests and senior day happen in Hattiesburg.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Golden Eagles hosted the third annual Southern Miss Open, with Senior Day and personal bests set.

Personal Bests
Callie Jones had personal bests in the 800m, the 100m hurdles, as well as the high jump. Jasmine Griffin had a personal best in the 100m hurdles. Sarah McMillon had a personal best in the 1500m. Monika Gebarzewska also had a personal best 1500m time.

Eric Washington had a personal best in the long jump. Mamadou Seck had a personal best in the 400m hurdles. Christian Strong had a personal best in the 200m. Tyrese Allen also had a personal-best in the 200m, as did Chedlin Sagesse. Elijah Burton had personal-bests in both the 100 and 200m. Trey Johnson finished with a personal-best in the 200m.

Women's Results
100m – Keiyana Gaskin finished second with a time of 11.58. Shundoria Hardy finished 12th with a time of 12.36.
100m Hurdles – Jasmine Griffin came in seventh place at 14.33. Callie Jones had an 11th-place finish at 14.58. Marquasha Myers finished in 21st at 15.46.
200m – Kadaria Thompson came in fourth place with a time of 24.51. Shundoria Hardy had a 17th-place finish at 26.42.
400m – Taylor Harris came in fourth place after a 56.91 finish. Aireanna Taylor finished in 11th with a time of 57.92.
800m – Callie Jones had a 14th-place finish at 2:35.50.
1500m – Savannah McMillon came in second place with a 4:36.52 time. Regen McGee came in third at 4:37.00. Monika Gebarzewska finished in fourth at 4:37.95. Sarah McMillon finished eighth after crossing the line at 4:43.42.
3000m – Coming in sixth was Theresa Harto at 10:37.26. Madeleine Bell came in seventh at 10:46.34. Victoria Hoppe came in eighth at 10:57.33.
High Jump Finals – In fifth place was Zaria Jones with a jump of 5'5". Callie Jones finished in 10th place at 5'3".
Long Jump – Grace Parker had a 20-place finish at 16'6.5".
Triple Jump – Marquasha Myers finished in third with a jump of 39'4.5".
Shot Put – Danisha Jones came in third place with a throw of 45'6.5".
Discus – Danisha Jones finished in first place with a throw of 163'10".
Hammer – Danisha Jones finished in second place with a throw of 170'2". McKenna Mumaw came in 11th with a throw of 146'10".

Men's Results
100m – Elijah Burton came in fourth place with a time of 10.58.
110m Hurdles – Caleb Parker placed first with a time of 14.01. Christian Strong finished in fifth at 14.62. Tamrin Hobbs finished seventh at 15.39. Keionis Spears finished in 14th with a time of 16.32.
200m – Chedlin Sagesse came in fifth place with a time of 21.24. Trey Johnson came in sixth with a time of 21.36. Elijah Burton had a 16th-place finish at 22.08. Christian Strong came in the 23rd slot at 22.53. Tyrese Allen came in at 23.27, placing him in 34th.
400m – Lorenzen Burton placed 19th with a time of 49.64.
400m Hurdles – Mamadou Seck came in first place with a time of 52.46. Tamrin Hobbs placed eighth at 58.00. Dexter Molden came in 14th after a 1:01.12 finish.
High Jump – Eric Richards placed first with a jump of 7'0.5". Caleb Parker came in third at 6'10.75".
Long Jump – Eric Washington placed first at 24'11.25" in the pit. John Warren came in second place at 24'6.5".
Triple Jump – John Warren placed first with a mark of 53'4.25". Devonta Brassell came in sixth at 46'6".
