Women's Soccer Welcomes UAB to Town for Sunday Afternoon Matchup

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss women's soccer team (7-9-0, 2-6-0 C-USA) will host UAB (4-6-5, 2-4-2 C-USA) on Sunday, October 27 at the Southern Miss Soccer Complex. The Golden Eagles and the Blazers will kick-off at 1:00 p.m. (CT). Sunday's match will be a Pink Out to support Breast Cancer Awareness.
The Last Time Out
In its last match played, Southern Miss fell to Middle Tennessee, 5-0 on Friday (October 25).
Goals by Hannah Tillett, Amber Hoot, Maddi Falter, Peyton DePriest and MacKenzie Bonham in the 22nd, 44th, 64th, 81st and 87th minutes respectively, propelled the Blue Raiders to victory.
Southern Miss ended the match with a 5-1 corner kicks advantage over Middle Tennessee.

UAB leads the all-time series with a record of 13-6-2. The Golden Eagles are 2-6-2 when hosting the Blazers at home in Hattiesburg, 3-7-0 in matches played on the road in Birmingham and 1-0-0 in neutral site contests.
