HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss women's soccer team (6-7-0, 1-4-0 C-USA) will travel to San Antonio, Texas to take on UTSA (5-6-1, 1-4-0 C-USA) on Thursday night (October 17). Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m. (CT) at the Park West Athletics Complex.

The Last Time Out
In its last match, Southern Miss fell to Charlotte by a final score of 4-2 on Friday night (October 11) in Charlotte, N.C.

Despite the loss, Southern Miss redshirt junior forward Hailey Pohevitz scored two goals in the match. Pohevitz's goals came in the 37^th and 78^th minutes of play. Pohevitz's goal scored in the 37^th minute narrowed the scoring deficit to one goal, making the score 2-1.

Pohevitz's goal in the 78^th minute wrapped up the scoring in the match for both teams. Junior defender Caitlin Pierce was credited with the assist on the goal.

Jamie Frankhauser provided the bulk of Charlotte's offense in the contest with two goals scored. Julia Patrum added a goal and two assists and Ashton Mckane recorded one goal.

Noteworthy Moment

After netting two goals in the match against Charlotte on Friday night, Hailey Pohevitz posted the first multi-goal match of her Southern Miss career.
