Men’s Golf Returns to Action in the AutoTrader Collegiate Classic

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team looks to continue its great start to the 2019-20 season when they travel to Duluth, Ga., for the AutoTrader Collegiate Classic set for Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 14-15.
The tournament gets underway with 36 holes, Monday, starting at 7:30 a.m., CT with a shotgun start, and finish, Tuesday, with 18 more holes, beginning at 7 a.m. CT, in the 54-hole event. Southern Miss, one of 13 teams in the event, will play at the par-72, 6,494-yard Berkeley Hills Country Club.
Over the first three events this fall, the Golden Eagles have finished third or better in two of them, including a 3rd-place showing at the Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational in West Virginia last week.
The Golden Eagles will send junior Brice Wilkinson (Madison, Miss.), freshman Robbie Latter (Mississauga, Ontario), senior Walker Kesterson (Hartsburg, Mo.), freshman Thongpipat Rattanayanon (Bangkok, Thailand) and junior Hunter Atkins (West Point, Miss.) to battle for the team championship.
Junior Brian Richards (Gulf Breeze, Fla.) will also play as an individual.
Joining Southern Miss in the event is host Georgia State, Boston College, Davidson, Francis Marion, James Madison, Lipscomb, Mercer, Nicholls State, Richmond, Stetson, USC Upstate and WKU.
