
Women's Tennis Remain Undefeated In Neutral Site Matches

ORLANDO, Fla. - Southern Miss women's tennis earned its third neutral site win on Tuesday defeating NIU 6-1.
The Golden Eagles improved to 13-3 on the season on Tuesday. Southern Miss won its fourth straight doubles point with wins on courts 2 and 3. Elena Roca and Lara Isis De Oliveira are a perfect 5-0 when paired together on court 2. Prior to being paired with Oliveira, Roca was 0-3 in doubles.
Anastasia Cobanovic and Tanit Lopez Lopez won their first doubles match together on Tuesday on court 3.
Freshman Arina Amaning has won two straight matches on court 1. Amaning beat Molligoda 6-0, 6-1, making it a 2-0 Southern Miss lead.
Rikeetha Pereira made it nine-straight singles wins with her 6-1, 6-2 finish. Pereira is now 9-1 in her last 10 matches played, having won eight of the nine is straigh-set fashion. Tjauesday wsa Jerse made it five-straight wins with a 6-2, 6-0 finish clinching the 13th win of the season for the Golden Eagles.
Elena Roca's undefeated season continued on Tuesday after her 6-2, 6-2 win on court 5. Roca's 12-match win streak is the fourth longest win streak in Southern Miss history. The win on court 5 made it 5-0.
NIU picked up its lone singles win on court 3 against Tanit Lopez Lopez.
Claudia Castella was forced to three sets but won her sixth match of the season on court 6.
