Golden Eagles Host Middle Tennessee For Senior Day

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss soccer team will honor five seniors at the final Conference USA home game of the season on Sunday, Oct. 23rd at 1 p.m. at the Southern Miss Soccer Complex.
The Golden Eagles host Middle Tennessee State on Senior Day. Adriana Garcia, Breann Hedin, Somer Jones, Rikke Randrup and Brittany Taylor will all be honored after the game.
The five seniors have played in every game this season and have recorded two goals while Taylor has made 80 saves for the Golden Eagles. The seniors have been key contributors to the success of the soccer program this season.
The Golden Eagles (7-6-2) are coming off a hard fought 1-1 tie against UAB. Stephanie Garcia scored her third goal of the season with Becky McMullan also recording her third assist of the season.
The Blue Raiders travel to Hattiesburg after a 2-1 loss against LA Tech falling to 4-11-1 on the season.
Scouting Middle Tennessee: Salera Jordan is the Blue Raiders leading scorer with seven goals and one assist. The Blue Raiders are also on a three-game losing streak with their last win coming against Marshall. The team has also given up 33 goals.
