Cross Country Eagles set for Conference Championship

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- The Southern Miss Golden Eagle Cross Country team travels to Bowling Green, Ky. this weekend to compete in the 2015 Conference USA Cross Country Championships.

The Golden Eagles have had a stellar season so far and look to capitalize on it at this competition. The 5k race takes place Saturday, October 31 at 10 a.m. on the Spero Kereiakes Park.

Southern Miss finished fifth last season with Rebecca Ulrich finishing in the top 20 and earning third team All-C-USA honors. The Golden Eagles return the top five runners from a year ago.
