Cross Country Eagles Place 17th at NCAA South Regionals

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss cross country team posted a 17th-place finish out 29 teams at the NCAA South Regional in Tallahassee, Fla., Friday morning at the Apalachee Regional Park.
Redshirt sophomore Rebecca Ulrich paced the Golden Eagles in the 6K race, crossing the finishing line in a time of 21:07.50. Daphney Stanford was next with a time of 21:19.3 while Dana Dillistone ran a time of 21:37.90. Kristin Zarrella recorded a time of 21:40. Alondra Hoyos recorded a time of 21:59.90 and Katie Canavin finished with a time of 22:08.2 in rounding the Golden Eagle finishes.
Vanderbilt was the overall team winner with 52 points while Florida State's Colleen Quigley was the individual winner with a time of 19:17.00.
