Lady Eagle Golfers in 14th-Place at Lady Paladin Invitational

Greenville, S.C. - The Southern Miss women's golf team is in 14th-place after one round of the Lady Paladin Invitational. The tournament is hosted by Furman and will be played at the par-72, 6,266-yard Furman University Golf Course.
The Lady Eagles shot a 26-over par 314, which tied their lowest round of the year.
Sophomore Juliana Herrera, playing in her first tournament of the year, leads Southern Miss after shooting a four-over par 76 to tie for 33rd-place. Senior Brandi Rodriguez is tied for 57th-place after carding a six-over par 78.
Freshman Emily Ross posted a seven-over par 79 to sit in a 68th-place tied. Redshirt senior Lauren Judson is tied for 75th-place after shooting a nine-over 81, and freshman Devon Spriddle posted a 10-over 82 to sit in a tie for 83rd-place.
George Regents-Augusta leads the team competition at three-under par. Clemson is two shots back in second-place and Furman and Wisconsin are tied for third at two-over par.
GRU-Augusta's Eunice Yi and Ashlan Ramsey of Clemson are tied for the individual lead at four-under par.
