2nd Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fall World Series Set

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss baseball team is set to hold its 2nd annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fall World Series, a best-of-seven intrasquad showdown, which will run from Thursday, Oct. 24, until Thursday, Nov. 7.
The teams will be split up into the Black and Gold squads with each game of the series set to take place at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the Pink Ribbon Fund pinkribbonfund.org/601-450-PINK), an all-volunteer organization with 100 percent of all donations providing financial assistance for Pine Belt breast cancer patients.
The 5 p.m., Oct. 31 game will be part of "Trick or Treat at The Pete" night where youngsterswill be able to obtain candy in their costumes as well as play games that will be setup by the Diamond Darlings that evening. More information will be coming on this exciting event.
