The meet's relay format saw multiple runner pairs from different schools run in a relay in order to complete the course.
The Golden Eagle pair of Krista Moylan and Jocelyn Lockhart was the top finishers for Southern Miss, covering the 6K course in a time of 21:17 to finish fourth overall. The team of Stephanie Ledgerwood and Kara Moylan finished seventh overall with a time of 21:56.
Southern Miss will travel to Auburn, Ala., for the Auburn Invitational, Sept. 9.
