Baseball Summer Showcase Camp Rescheduled for Saturday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - The Southern Miss Baseball Summer Showcase Camp, which was postponed due to rainy weather last weekend, has been rescheduled for this Saturday, July 23, beginning at 1 p.m., at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field.

The showcase camp is for those entering grades 9-12 with numerous college and professional scouts in attendance. Each of the players will be asked to field their positions. Pitchers who are dual players will be allowed to participate at both positions.

Campers will run the 60-yard dash, field their defensive positions and hit on the game field during the camp.
