Vollmuth Named to the NCAA Auburn All-Regional Team

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss shortstop B.A. Vollmuth was selected as a member of the 11 player Auburn All-Regional team, announced after the conclusion of the championship game in Auburn, Ala. on Monday.
The Biloxi native hit .500 (7-14) over the Golden Eagles three games with two home runs and eight RBI while scoring three runs. In the NCAA Tournament he slugged an amazing.929.
Last year in the NCAA Atlanta Regional Vollmuth was also named to the NCAA All-Tournament team and the Most Outstanding Player as a true freshman.
In his first full season, Vollmuth led the team with a .386 average, 20 home runs 17 doubles and driving in 76 runs. In his final 14 games he hit 12 Home runs
He was selected to the Conference USA first-team as well as the C-USA All-tournament team.
