Bo Davis Earns All-American Honors

HATTIESBURG, Miss.- Southern Miss outfielder Bo Davis' spectacular senior season was recognized today with Pro-Line Athletic All-American honors as selected by the National College Baseball Writers (NCBWA).

Davis leads the Golden Eagles in both batting average, at .371, and home runs with 14 while slugging .649 and an on base percentage of .488.

He has four triples this season, giving him 15 for his career which is a new school record, breaking the previous mark of 13 set by Chad Herbert.

Davis and the Golden Eagles will face the top national seed Texas Longhorns Sunday at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Nebraska. The game will be televised live on ESPN 2 in high definition with first pitch at 6:00 p.m.
