Southern Miss Offers Fall Instructional Baseball League

HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Southern Miss will hold its inaugural Fall Instructional Baseball League for those high school players looking to continue in the development of their skills prior to the 2007 spring season.
The league will consist of eight instructional sessions as well as four games and will be held on Tuesday and Thursday nights during the month of September at Pete Taylor Park/Hill Denson Field on the Southern Miss campus.
All instruction and coaching will be provided by members of the Southern Miss coaching staff as well as members of the Golden Eagle team.
The Instructional League will consist of four teams comprised of 15 players per team. Players are selection on a first-come, first-serve basis totaling 60 total players. Registration is permitted to those students while will be entering the 10th through 12th grade.
The cost of the event is $175 and the fee will provide a game t-shirt, baseballs, field and facility usage, instruction and secondary insurance coverage
