Maddox Named Conference USA Co-Hitter of the Week
Maddox went 6-for-14 (.429) in a three-game sweep of USF, posting a .929 slugging percentage. He hit his first career grand slam in Friday night's win and had the game-winning homer in the bottom of the eighth inning on Sunday. Maddox closed out the series with a double, two homers, eight RBIs and four runs scored. He finished with 13 total bases for a .929 slugging percentage and had a .500 on-base percentage for the week.
For the season, Maddox is hitting .344 with 72 hits, 14 doubles, 13 home runs, 39 walks, 14 stolen bases and 52 RBIs.
Parker recorded at least one run scored, one RBI and one extra-base hit in all five games last week. He batted .619 (13-for-21) with a 1.143 slugging percentage, finishing with five doubles and two home runs. Parker had nine RBI on the week and had two or more hits in four games.
TCU?s Lance Broadway was named the conference pitcher of the week.
