Football Finishes Preparations For USF

HATTIESBURG, Miss.? Southern Miss completed its preparations for Saturday?s game at USF, with a two-hour practice at M.M. Roberts Stadium today.

The team put the finishing touches on the gameplan for USF, worked in phases of the special teams, while the offense and defense fine tuned its respective schemes.

Head Football Coach Jeff Bower said the team is ready to play.

?We had a good week of practice,? Bower said. ?I think we were sharp today. We were good mentally.?

Bower added the team is ?in good shape? injury wise going into this weekend?s game.

Southern Miss (2-0, 1-0 in Conference USA) will take on USF (2-1, 1-0 in Conference USA) Saturday at 6 p.m. from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla. The game will be televised on ESPN Gameplan.
