Lady Eagles Take On Samford

HATTIESBURG, Miss - The Lady Eagle Soccer team, fresh off a 1-0-1 record at the Tulane Invitational, looks to remain in the unbeaten column when they travel to Birmingham to face Samford in a 7 p.m. match Friday.

Southern Miss and Samford have not met since the Lady Eagles first season of play back in 1997 when the two teams met twice. The Lady Eagles won both contests.

Southern Miss is lead in goals scored by Kay Beth Costilow, Carly Barkley and Emily Anne Chenoweth. Each have one goal on the season.

The Lady Eagles next match will be on the road in Lafayette, La., as Southern Miss takes on Louisianna-Lafayette. Match time is set for 1 p.m.
