Lady Eagles Drop Soccer Match At Saint Louis ST. LOUIS, Mo
The loss drops the Lady Eagles record to 5-1-1 overall, and 0-1 in Conference USA play.
Saint Louis started the scoring in the ninth minute of play as midfielder Christie Cigno, off an assist from Dee Guempel, got things going for the Billikens.
Saint Louis (4-1-1), (1-0), added three more goals in a span of five minutes, (minutes 41-46), to put this match away, and enable the Billikens to win the opening Conference USA match for both schools.
Southern Miss returns to action Sunday, as the Lady Eagles travel to Greenville, N.C., to take on East Carolina in another Conference USA match for both schools.
