Southern Miss Soccer announces Youth Soccer Days
HATTIESBURG, Miss. ? Southern Miss Head Coach Matt Clark and the women's soccer team announce the Hattiesburg Youth Soccer Association Days for the 2001 regular season.
Beginning with the Golden Eagle Soccer Classic and continuing throughout the regular season, any child wearing a Southern Miss Soccer Camp T-shirt or a youth soccer team jersey will be given free admission to the Lady Eagles' home soccer matches.
"We are just trying to integrate our program with the local community," Clark said. "We also want to show our support for HYSA coaching director Udo Ratliff and HYSA's contribution to our program, along with our partnership with the city of Hattiesburg."
Southern Miss plays its first two matches this weekend. The Lady Eagles face Middle Tennessee State, Friday, at 5 p.m., and host Alabama A&M, Sunday, at 3 p.m. The remaining home dates include matches against McNeese State, South Alabama, Charlotte, East Carolina, UAB, South Florida and TCU.
