Southern Miss Women’s Golf Coach Erika Brennan announced the addition of Kelly Erasmus as a student assistant coach for the Golden Eagles.
“I’m elated to have Kelly join us this season as a student coach. Kel brings a unique perspective to the coaching staff and was a model student-athlete during her time competing at Southern Miss. Not only did she excel on the course for us, she was also a stand-out in the classroom and amongst her peers. She will immediately elevate the program with her contributions and I can’t wait to get started working alongside her.”
Erasmus’ playing eligibility ended this past spring and she will coach as she finishes her degree.
“I feel very privileged to get this opportunity to continue to be a part of this incredible Golden Eagle team and to be a mentor to all the players,” Erasmus said. “I hope to bring a positive contribution to the team and I can't wait to see the success they achieve.”
