Voted a 2022 team captain by his teammates…Made the Fall 2021 President’s List, earning that honor for the ninth time in his Southern Miss academic career…Accepted into medical school during the fall.
2021 (C-Jr.): Made 13 starts for the Golden Eagles, posting a 4-2 record with a 4.21 ERA over 57 2/3 innings…Fanned 56 and walked eight…Opened his season with five shutout innings, including a career-high nine strikeouts, against Northwestern State (2/22) in which he only allowed two hits in a victory…Enjoyed three-straight starts from May 2-16 in which he threw six innings in all three starts and only allowed a run in each of those appearance…Posted a win at Rice (5/2) by allowing five hits and no walks with three strikeouts to start the that stretch…Collected another victory in his next start versus Middle Tennessee (5/9) by giving up two hits and no walks with five strikeouts…Finished three-game stint with eight strikeouts and no walks on six hits to earn a no decision at Florida Atlantic (5/16)…Allowed three runs (one earned) over six innings on six hits with five punchouts and no walks in a win over UAB (4/11)…Did not allow a walk in eight different appearances during the year…Earned a spot on the Conference USA All-Academic team…Named to President’s List during the Spring 2021 and Fall 2020 semesters…Earned a C-USA Academic Medal and was a member of the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2020 (R-So.): Appeared in four games and made two midweek starts…Had no record with an ERA of 8.00…Fanned 10 and walked just one over nine innings…First start came against Ole Miss (2/25) and he registered his longest outing of the year of four innings in a no decision…Allowed two runs on four hits and fanned three against the Rebels…Made debut against New Orleans (2/28) and fanned season-high four over two innings, allowing no runs on two hits and a walk…Earned President’s List for the Spring 2020 and Fall 2019 semesters…Earned a C-USA Academic Medal and a part of the Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
