Men’s Tennis Set for Tallahassee Weekend Matchups

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss men's tennis (2-2) continues its spring schedule this weekend with two matches in Tallahassee. The Golden Eagles will open the weekend against Jacksonville State (6-0) on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. Southern Miss will then face Florida State (6-4) on Sunday, Feb. 22 at 3 p.m.
Southern Miss will look to keep building rhythm early in the spring, leaning on strong play at the top of the lineup and continuing to sharpen doubles as the schedule moves forward. With two matches in two days, the weekend provides another chance to stack valuable reps and test the Golden Eagles against quality opponents.
Southern Miss will have a full roster available, including Eric Perkowski, Saheb Sodhi, Olle Noltorp, Ritabrata Sarkar, Jay Temming, Kale Mize, Jose Murariu, Matei Varbanciu, and Rasmus Becker. Zubin Engineer leads the Golden Eagles, with Nicolas Simkin assisting on staff.
