The Golden Eagles have started to find their rhythm, producing their first multi-goal game of 2025 thanks to a strike from Rhyleigh Marks and consecutive penalty kicks from Ryan Smith. USM has shown growing promise in its final third, creating quality chances and triggering offensive momentum.
Meanwhile, Louisiana Tech enters the match after a difficult stretch, currently sitting at 1-5-1, having dropped four straight matches. The Bulldogs' lone win came via a 2–0 victory over ULL in Ruston, and they recently suffered a 4–0 loss at Mississippi State.
