
Cassidy and Michalska Earn All-Sun Belt Conference Beach Volleyball Second Team Honors

NEW ORLEANS – Southern Miss' top flight pairing of Madison Cassidy and Zuzanna Michalska were selected by Sun Belt Conference coach to the All-Sun Belt Second Team as announced today by the league office.
Cassidy, a three-year letterwinner who signed to Southern Miss out of Parkview Baptist School in Baton Rouge, La., and Michalska, a former NJCAA National Champion at Palm Beach State College originally from Warsaw, Poland, have manned the Golden Eagles' top flight for the full 2025 season.
The duo owns a 15-18 overall ledger, the fifth-most wins by a pair in one season in school history. They posted wins over ranked Georgia State as they compiled a 5-3 record against Sun Belt Conference opponents.
Southern Miss opens play in the Sun Belt Conference Beach Volleyball Championship in Foley, Ala., tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. The Golden Eagles earned the six-seed and will take on three-seed UNCW in its first match.
