Two Golden Eagles Net Top-10 Finishes in Final Day at Bama Beach Bash

GULF SHORES, Ala. – Momoka Ando and Louise Cuyvers each notched spots in the top 10 to wrap up Southern Miss' time at Gulf Shores Country Club. The women's golf team finished the Bama Beach Bash with a 10-over 298 as a group and was led by Ando's even-par 72 finish.
Ando wrapped up the tournament with a three-over 219 over 54 holes. Cuyvers surged on her final day with a one-over 73 to move up four spots on the leaderboard for a 54-hole total of 10-over 226.
Taylor Trible and Elena Melich also factored in the Golden Eagles' scoring with Trible finishing today four-over 76 and Melich five-over 77. Trible and Rachel Navet, playing as an independent, each tied for 29th on the final player leaderboards. Jacee Fields finished tied-42nd while Alma Betoret de Salazar finished tied-58th.
