Men’s Golfer Robbie Latter Named Third-Team All-Sun Belt Conference

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss senior golfer Robbie Latter (Mississauga, Ontario) earned third-team All-Sun Belt Conference Monday afternoon in a vote of the league's 14 schools.
Latter finished his Golden Eagle career by posting the lowest per stroke average on the team with a 72.56 in 2023-24, which included 14 rounds of par or below over his 32 circuits this season. During the year, he registered three Top 10 finishes with his top showing coming with a sixth-place tie at the Oregon State Invitational. Latter also placed tied for seventh at the Argent Financial Classic (hosted by Louisiana Tech) and ninth in the Hal Williams Collegiate in Mobile.
He enjoyed six rounds in the 60s with a career-low round of 64 at the Mossy Oak Collegiate in West Point, Miss. In addition, Latter was the top finisher for the Golden Eagles in six of their 11 events during the year.
This year marked the third time Latter has earned all-conference honors during his career after earning third-team All-SBC honors a year ago and also was a second team All-Conference USA pick in 2022.
His career 72.83 stroke average is the fourth lowest in school history as he also finished his Golden Eagle tenure with the lowest stroke per round average in school history of 71.88 in 2021-22 as well as the third lowest average of 72.89 in 2019-20.
