Women's Tennis Slated to Face Arkansas State at SBC Championships

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Southern Miss (4-14, 0-10 Sun Belt) women's tennis travels to Rome, Ga. to face No. 12 Arkansas State (8-14, 2-9 Sun Belt) on Wednesday at 9 a.m. CST in the Sun Belt Championships. The Golden Eagles were tabbed as the No. 13 seed.
The Golden Eagles look to bounce back against Arkansas State after last week's defeat to the Red Wolves in Jonesboro. The Golden Eagles had three members finish with a team-high four wins on the season with Suhana Das, Angelina Blinova, and Malannia Vashkevich. In Doubles action, Suhana Das and Alyssa Richter posted a team-high nine wins. Das and Richter combined to go 6-2 as a pairing for the Golden Eagles.
The winner of Wednesday's match will play No. 5 Coastal Carolina on Thursday. The match is slated for 9 a.m. CST.
