
Men’s Golf Finishes Regular Season at Mossy Oak Collegiate Starting Monday

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – The Southern Miss men's golf team completes its regular season Monday and Tuesday at the Mossy Oak Collegiate in West Point, Miss.
Being played at the par 72, 7,212-yard Mossy Oak Golf Club, the teams at the event consist of host Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Auburn, Kansas State, Cincinnati, Augusta, Liberty, Middle Tennessee, Louisiana Tech, Little Rock, Troy, New Mexico State and Louisiana.
The Golden Eagles return to action for the first time since March 18-19 at the Houston All-American in Humble, Texas, where they finished 13th.
Senior Robbie Latter (Mississauga, Ontario) leads the way for the Golden Eagles with a stroke average of 72.54 this season over 26 rounds. Fellow senior Thongpipat Rattanayanon (Bangkok, Thailand) ranks second at 73.62, while freshman Supakorn Amornchaichan (Pattaya City, Thailand) is third at 74.35.
The tournament starts at 8 a.m., Monday with a shotgun start and will feature continuous play of 36 holes. The event will conclude Tuesday at 8 a.m., with threesomes going off each 10 minutes from holes No. 1 and No. 10.
Coach Eddie Brescher's team is looking for a solid finish as the team heads into next week's Sun Belt Conference Tournament, April 22-25, at Annandale Golf Club in Madison, Miss.
