Women's Tennis Announces 2025 Schedule

HATTIESBURG, Miss.-Head coach Piyanart Engineer and the Southern Miss women's tennis team announced the program's schedule.
The slate includes 11 home matches and 10 road contests, spanning across eight states.
The Golden Eagles are set to open the spring season with a two-match homestand, hosting the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on Jan. 31 and Northwestern State on Feb. 2.
Southern Miss hits the road the following weekend, taking on New Orleans on Feb. 8 and Jackson State in Jackson, Miss., on Feb. 14 before returning home to host Nicholls State on Feb. 16.
The Golden Eagles will play matches in three states over two weeks, starting with Southeastern Louisiana in Hammond, La., on Feb. 21. They then head to Beaumont, Texas, to face Lamar on Feb. 23 before concluding the road swing in Tallahassee, Fla., against Florida A&M on March 3.
Conference play begins at home with back-to-back matches against Georgia State on March 8 and Troy on March 9.
Southern Miss will host Alcorn State on March 12 before embarking on the longest road stretch of the season. The team travels to Huntington, W.Va., to face Marshall on March 15, then heads to Boone, N.C., to play App State on March 16. The following weekend features matches against James Madison in Harrisonburg, Va., on March 22 and Old Dominion in Norfolk, Va., on March 24.
The Golden Eagles return home for three Sun Belt matches, hosting Texas State on March 29, Louisiana on March 30, and South Alabama on April 5.
Southern Miss wraps up its regular-season road schedule with a trip to Jonesboro, Ark., to face Arkansas State on April 12. The regular season concludes at home against ULM on April 19.
The Sun Belt Conference Championships will take place in Rome, Ga., from April 24-27.
