Baseball Players Wrapping Up Summer League Action Across Country

HATTIESBURG, Miss. – Three Southern Miss pitchers, all playing in the Cape Cod League for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks, currently are battling in that league's playoffs to complete summer action for the Golden Eagles.
The trio of Will Armistead, JB Middleton and Kros Sivley, opens the best of three West Division finals tonight against Bourne. The Harbor Hawks advanced in the playoffs after beating Falmouth in two-straight contests.
Two other Golden Eagles, Tucker Stockman and Nolan Tucker, each made the playoffs for their respective teams. Stockman reached the Prairie Land Division championship game for the Cape Catfish in the Prospect League, while Tucker fell in the championship series for the Mat-Su Miners in the Alaska Baseball League. Tucker finished his summer by hitting safely in his last eight games, going 12-of-26 over that time (.462) with two doubles, a triple and five RBI.
